Slowly crafted in small batches, the Zara Bar Stool is handmade in Bali over a two-week period using kiln-dried solid teak and a durable handwoven rattan blend. Each strand is woven with precise tension for comfort that lasts, while the rattan retains its shape without sagging or discolouring, even in busy homes. Once assembled, the frame is sealed with a light protective finish that highlights the natural grain of the teak.
With a 65cm seat height designed perfectly for standard UK kitchen islands and breakfast bars, it brings together traditional craftsmanship, everyday practicality and a unique character that can only come from something made by hand.
