More about
Kapara London
Founded in 2015 by Daisy Fellowes, Kapara London is a lifestyle brand that bridges the vibrant colours and patterns of India with the timeless, structured elegance of British design. The collections are a celebration of craftsmanship, combining one-off treasures sourced directly from Jaipur with pieces designed from scratch in-house. Each product tells a story, balancing heritage and artistry with contemporary style, sustainability, and social purpose.
From the very beginning, the brand has championed slow fashion, ethical production, and mindful living. By focusing on small-batch production, natural materials, and traditional techniques, Kapara creates products that are thoughtful, enduring, and made to be cherished. Every item is a testament to the beauty of artisanal craft and the power of design to connect cultures, communities, and generations.
Meet the Maker
Daisy Fellowes has spent the last decade dividing her time between Jaipur and London, immersing herself in both worlds. In Jaipur, she spends 5–6 months each year working directly with artisans, teaching English and maths at the Taabar Street Children Shelter, and supporting initiatives like The Better Future Collective, which promotes girls’ education in underserved communities.
Daisy’s deep connection to the people and culture of India ensures that every collection reflects not just her design sensibility but a commitment to positive social impact.
"At Kapara London, we weave artisanal craft, cultural heritage, and social responsibility into every design. Partnering with skilled Indian artisans, we preserve and celebrate traditional craftsmanship while promoting ethical practices and community support. Our mission extends beyond fashion as we strive to make a positive impact - creating beautiful, handmade products that embody sustainability, style, and purpose."

Materials
At Kapara, every material is chosen with care. The brand works with organic cotton, kala cotton, cotton-linen blends, and sustainably sourced modal, all selected to minimise environmental harm while supporting artisan communities. These natural fibres provide a luxurious feel and a timeless aesthetic, while low-impact dyes and traditional techniques ensure each piece is as eco-conscious as it is beautiful.
Sustainability is central to Kapara’s ethos. Collections are produced in small batches to reduce waste, and fabric scraps are repurposed into accessories, scrunchies, or bunting, creating a circular system that maximises resources.
People and Production
Kapara’s products are brought to life by skilled artisans in and around Jaipur, many of whom have been collaborating with the brand since its inception. Block printers, weavers, tailors, embroiderers, and hand-painters work alongside the design team to create pieces that celebrate tradition while meeting contemporary standards of quality and style.
The brand places people at the heart of its operation. Artisans are supported through fair wages, safe working conditions, and long-term partnerships, ensuring that the cultural heritage of Indian craftsmanship is preserved and respected.
