Today I'm stepping back inside Sarah’s home again (@AConstantDreamer), which is very exciting. I've been lucky enough to learn all about Sarah’s gorgeous living room, and I certainly felt really inspired by what I saw. That beautiful fireplace hasn’t left my memory!
But, on with today… this time I'm checking out Sarah’s kitchen/dining room, and unsurprisingly, it’s just as lovely. I really think that Sarah has nailed the interior in so many ways, but my favourite parts are those mid-century chairs and vintage hanging lights.
Sarah says “The chairs were an eBay buy, but I have to admit that I am on the hunt for new dining room chairs… The lights are from Urban Cottage Industries, and you select each part so you can make something really unique. My antique sideboard is my favourite piece in here and was a lucky purchase from an Instagramer".
"I cheekily asked that if she ever thought of selling it then I would be interested, and low and behold, she was! I snapped it up straight away. The other item I love are my lights. They were one of the first changes we made when we moved in and receive probably the most compliments”.
I can see why the antique sideboard is her favourite thing – it’s beautiful! The colour of the walls here are Farrow & Ball Purbeck Stone, (I had to ask, didn’t I…?), which Sarah says “...is a lovely warm colour without being too dark”.
So where does Sarah shop for items in her home? Well, Sarah says “I shop all over (except for the high street) so lots of independents, antique shops, eBay, and Instagram is a great place to discover interior shops. I love anything a bit different and like a classic base with bright accessories like cushions (I’m a cushion addict) to brighten up a scheme & add interest.”
Thank you for sharing your lovely home with me, Sarah! I hope you guys have enjoyed stepping inside Sarah’s kitchen as much as I did, and don’t forget to check out her living room tour too. I'd love to know if you like Sarah’s home as much as I do – it’s lovely, isn’t it?
p.s Would you like to live in this gorgeous country cottage? It even has a thatched roof... *swoons*
